AnalogicTech introduces multi-string backlight LED drivers

The AAT1409 is a high efficiency eight LED strings backlight driver optimized for notebook computers, monitors and portable TVs. The integrated boost converter and precision current sinks operate from DC inputs, cigarette lighter adapters, or multi-cell Li-ion batteries over the 4.5V to 26V voltage range. The AAT1409 drives up to 88 LEDs at 45mA per string for 360mA total LED current. The high (100 kHz) PWM frequency ensures silent operation.
